Richard L. McGregor, 78, of Eau Claire, died Monday, September 18, 2006 at Luther Hospital. Richard was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on June 19, 1928 to Delbert and Pearl (Nelson) McGregor.
He is an alumnus of UW Eau Claire, having graduated in 1950 with a bachelor's degree in math. After serving in the Korean War, he attended Marquette University and received a Masters of Science in Physics. He taught at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, and then returned to UW Eau Claire as a member of the Physics Department in 1959. For the past 20 years he acted as Assistant Dean to the School of Arts and Sciences.

Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly, and daughters Kathleen of Tallahassee, FL and Patricia of Hartford, CT. He is also survived by his brother Delbert (Mary) of Baraboo, WI, a brother-in-law Robert (Frances) of Raleigh, NC, a niece and two nephews. |
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2006 at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home. Interment will be private on Saturday September 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery with
Father William Felix officiating.
